Helping Hands is the service club of Sacred Heart High School. It is sponsored by Mrs. Linda Kirkendall and Mrs. Julie Froeschl. Helping Hands students are dedicated to serving their school, parish, and community. Some of their activities include raking leaves for the older population, assisting the Lutheran church in their clothing drive, helping set up and clean up the city craft fair, cleaning up the auditorium after basketball games, visiting the care centers, and helping during Cobblestone with the 5K run. Students learn the joy and sense of accomplishment which comes from working together as volunteers through this organization. All are encouraged to participate.
