Betty Schawang Memorial Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship is open to any Sacred Heart senior intending to further his/her education or prepare for a professional career by attending any two- or four-year school either academic or vocational.
PROCESS
The selection for this essay scholarship will be based on the applicant academic achievements, involvement in school and community activities, leadership, financial need, and the quality and content of the application. Please write an essay describing the skills, qualities, and character traits that you developed by attending Sacred Heart School and how they will help you in the future.
Deadline for application shall be April 30 of the current school year.
The scholarship will be funded by the Betty Schawang Scholarship held in Falls City Sacred Heart High School Foundation. This year’s scholarship is for $850.
The selection of the scholarship winner shall be determined by a separate entity other than school personnel. The selection shall be completed no later than May 6 of the current school year.
