The Saint Thomas More Chapter of the National Honor Society was established at Sacred Heart in 1984. Since that time numerous Sacred Heart students have been members of this prestigious society. The Saint Thomas More Chapter of the National Honor Society is committed to the development of the whole individual; spiritually, academically, physically, and mentally. We are committed to service in our school, church and community.
To be a member of the NHS, a student must be a sophomore in high school, be in good standing academically, fill out an application listing their activities, services and write an essay about why they wish to be an NHS member. A special faculty panel choses the inductees. Induction is held during Catholic School’s Week in January.
