Sacred Heart School Tuition & Scholarship Information

The cost of educating each student at Sacred Heart is approximately $8,000.00.  With a tuition list price K-8 of $2,480.00 and 9-12 of $2,880.00, the remaining costs are covered by Endowment distributions, parish assessments, fundraising and donations. Additional assistance that may be available to your family include:

  • Good Shepherd Diocesan Scholarship
  • Local Guardian Angel Scholarship
  • Family Cap Scholarship
  • For parents who are between 0 and 225% of the federal poverty level, families will receive the Good Shepherd Diocesan Scholarship per child of either $1,800.00 (K-8) or $2,100.00 (9-12). The local Guardian Angel Scholarship will assist parents who are between 226% – 400% of the federal poverty level and are not eligible for the Good Shepherd Diocesan Scholarship.

*Families are eligible for a Family Tuition Cap Scholarship in Lincoln Diocese Catholic Schools, regardless of income level.  A maximum of three students from a family will be charged tuition; all other students are eligible for a full tuition scholarship, even if students are in multiple Diocesan schools.  This does not apply to preschool students. Families must apply through FACTS for the Family Tuition Cap Scholarship.

FACTS Information Participation in FACTS is required for any financial assistance.  Sacred Heart will use the same FACTS application as the Good Shepherd Scholarship, so only one application is needed.  We ask that everyone fill out the FACTS application by March 31, 2021..  If a household does not fill out FACTS, they will not be eligible for a Good Shepherd Diocesan Scholarship, Family Tuition Cap or local Guardian Angel Scholarship.  According to the Diocese website:  “Families of K-12 students may apply for tuition assistance by completing a FACTS application online at www.goodshepherdscholarship.com.  FACTS is a third-party company used to evaluate applications, by using FACTS it helps to ensure the process is fair and financial data is secure and confidential.  The information used for the Good Shepherd Scholarship will have restricted access, limited only to the Diocesan Education Office for the purpose of awarding scholarships and no one at the local school will have access to your information.”Note: There is a $35 FACTS application fee per family. If you need assistance in paying this fee, please contact the school office for a waiver. Please contact the school to setup an appointment if you would like help in filling out the application or uploading requested documents. Evening appointments are available.
