Class of 2025: Senior Spotlight

THOMAS JOSHUA AITKEN

Thomas, son of Dave and Sherry Aitken, is the youngest of three children. Thomas plans on attending Iowa Western to get his welding certificate in the future. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object his dream job would be to build ships for the navy. The teacher that influenced Thomas the most was Mrs. Wertenberger because, “Even though I have not been in her class for years, she’s always been a teacher you can talk to about your issues, and she is always ready to help.” Thomas’s favorite memories from being at Sacred Heart are winning awards with his friends in One Act and Speech. Thomas will mostly miss spending time with his class after he graduates. He would describe his senior year as fast, full, and over.

EVAN DALE BAILEY

Evan, son of Tim Bailey and Stacey Bailey, has one younger sister. Evan plans to attend SCC in Milford to become an Ag Equipment Service Technician. His favorite lunch from Sacred Heart is taco bowl. Evan’s favorite class was agriculture class because it helped him with his career choice. The Sacred Heart tradition Evan will miss most is the annual homecoming skits. His favorite memories are Quincy’s funny comments from their time at Sacred Heart. Evan described his senior year as long, longer, and longest.

GAVIN VINCENT CLOW

Gavin, son of Chris Clow and Trischa Clow, is the oldest of six. Gavin plans to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln to major in pre-law then later is going to study law. Gavin’s favorite lunch from Sacred Heart is taco bowl. The teacher that influenced Gavin the most was Mrs. Kirkendall because she pushed him to be his best. He will miss summer weights the most after he graduates. His favorite memories from Sacred Heart are all the football and basketball games. Gavin’s favorite tradition from Sacred Heart is homecoming. He would describe his senior year as exciting, but scary.

ADISEN ROSE FISCHER

Adisen, daughter of Nick Fischer and Justin and Becky Vonderschmidt, is the oldest with younger twin brothers. Adisen plans to attend SCC in Beatrice in the Agricultural Educational Learning program, then transfer to Kansas State University to obtain her master’s degree. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, Adisen would be a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo photographer and western ambassador/ influencer. Adisen’s favorite high school course is art because you can express yourself and bring your imagination. She will miss being in the same school as her brothers after she graduates. Her favorite memory from high school is going to State Speech all four years and building new memories. Adisen describes her senior year as chaotic, resilient, and quick.

KYLE DONOVAN FREDERICK

Kyle, son of Sean and Marsha Frederick, is the youngest of three children. Kyle plans to attend Peru State College to become a CPA Accountant. His favorite school lunch from Sacred Heart is hamburger. The teacher that influenced Kyle the most was Mrs. Taft because, “She prepared me for college math.” He will miss his class the most after he graduates from Sacred Heart High School. His favorite tradition from Sacred Heart was the homecoming scavenger hunts. Kyle would describe his senior year as busy, bittersweet, and joyful.

PATRICK JOSEPH FROESCHL

Patrick, son of Phil and Laurie Froeschl, is the youngest in his family and has nine siblings. Patrick plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University to get his bachelor’s in accounting. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object Patrick’s dream job would be a cruise ship captain. His favorite high school class was all of Mr. Santo’s classes because of the casual discussions about random stuff. Patrick will miss the family atmosphere and his friends when he graduates. His favorite memory from being at Sacred Heart was being a part of the crowd at state championship games. Patrick described his senior year as fast, exciting, and sad.

ROBERT PAUL FROESCHL

Rob, son of Adam and Julie Froeschl, is the youngest of three children. After graduation Rob plans on doing concrete work with his brother. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, Rob would be a marine mechanic at Performance Boat Center. Mr. Wertenberger influenced him the most because, “He talked more about other trades and paths you can do instead of college.” The Sacred Heart tradition Rob will miss most is the Athletic Banquet. Rob’s favorite memory was when he and Joe got first and second in the 110-meter hurdles in districts to go to state and watching Joe win at state. Rob described his senior year as fast, easy, and fun.

DESTRY LEE GROTH

Destry, daughter of Stacy and Andrea Groth, is the oldest of two children. Destry plans to attend Dordt University to major in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, Destry would be a private chef. Her favorite high school class was publications because she can be creative and yearbook pages are satisfying when finished. She will miss how supportive the staff and students are at Sacred Heart when she graduates. Her favorite memory from her time at Sacred Heart was her senior year state one act because she received the Believers and Achievers Awards, and the One Act team got runner-up. Destry described her senior year as busy, fast, and memorable.

CADEN ROWE HANDLEY

Caden, son of Scott Handley and Cortisa Handley, is the youngest of three children. Caden plans to go to SCC in Milford and work on the farm after. Caden’s favorite lunch from Sacred Heart was taco bowl. The faculty member that influenced him most was Mrs. Darveau because she made him get his work done. The thing Caden will miss being with his friends after he graduates. Caden’s favorite memories are when Quincy and Caleb used to argue during class. He would describe his senior year as way too long.

CLAYTON LOWELL KEITHLEY

Clayton, son of Joe and Tiffany Keithley, is the youngest of four. Clayton plans to attend SCC Milford to major in electrical mechanical. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, Clayton would be a rodeo clown or motorcross rider. The teacher that influenced him the most was Mr. Santo because he teaches history in an entertaining and understandable way. Clayton will miss his classmates the most after he graduates. His most embarrassing moments while being at Sacred Heart were when he broke the chandelier while setting up for winter formal and breaking the sink in Tiehen. Clayton will describe his senior year as fast, fun, and chopped.

ADDISON GRACE KELLER

Addison, daughter of Bart and Gayle Keller, has one younger sister. Addison plans to attend Bryan College of Health Sciences and major in nursing. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, she would be a cosmetologist. Her favorite class is publications because she gets to design the yearbook, take photos, and work with friends. After she graduates, she will miss walking the halls with the people she’s grown up with and the underclassmen friends. Her favorite memory from Sacred Heart is winning three out of four homecoming skits with her class. Addison described her senior year as stressful, bittersweet, and fast.

QUINCY ISAAC KOELLIKER

Quincy, son of Kevin Koelliker and Sara Santo, has one older sister. Quincy plans to attend Highland Community College to study business. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, Quincy’s dream job would be to play Major League Baseball. The teacher that influenced Quincy the most was Mrs. Bippes because, “She showed me about multimedia and how it’s a big part of society.” Quincy will miss the connections and family he has here. His most embarrassing moment was when he fell during an obstacle course Mr. Lemerond made for Catholic Schools Week. His favorite memories from Sacred Heart are walking the halls and having chats with faculty and teachers during class. Quincy would describe his senior year as long, unpredictable, and calm.

JENTRY MARIE LECHTENBERG

Jentry, daughter of Justin Lechtenberg and Monica Lechtenberg, is the middle child of three. Jentry plans to attend SCC Lincoln to become a Radiology Technician. Jentry’s favorite lunch from Sacred Heart is cheesy potato soup. Her favorite class was being a teaching assistant for art because she got to see all the different creativity throughout the school. Jentry will miss the family feeling atmosphere and being with her best friends after she graduates. Her favorite memories from Sacred Heart are winning four state championships. Jentry would describe her senior year as stressful, fun, and tiring.

ETHAN DAVID NEDDENRIEP

Ethan, son of Jesse and Sarah Neddenriep, is the youngest of five children. Ethan plans to go right in the workforce to learn how to run a business and learn trade skills after high school. His favorite lunch from Sacred Heart is orange chicken. Ethan’s favorite class was World Issues because it was fun to learn without having stacks of homework. After graduation Ethan will miss the family he’s been with every day for more than a decade. His most embarrassing memory from his time at Sacred Heart was when he fell into the podium while talking at the biggest pep rally of the year. Ethan’s favorite tradition from Sacred Heart are the pep rallies. He would describe his senior year as quick, exciting, and bittersweet.

CONNOR JOSHUA NELSON

Connor, son of Troy and Betsy Nelson, is the youngest of three children. Connor plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University for accounting. Connor’s favorite lunch throughout his years at Sacred Heart was orange chicken. His favorite class in high school was civics because, ‘‘Santo always got annoyed.” Connor will miss doing sports the most after he graduates. His favorite Sacred Heart tradition is the homecoming scavenger hunt. Connor said his senior year went fast.

JOCELYN RENEE OLBERDING

Jocelyn, daughter of Tom and Jodie Olberding, is the youngest child with two half-sisters. Jocelyn plans to attend SCC in Lincoln and major in Radiological Technology or Physical Therapy Assisting.  If talent, money, and location were not an object her dream job would be a crime scene investigator. Jocelyn’s favorite class was publications because she got to help design the yearbook and be with her friends. She will miss being with her class every day and the memories they made together after she graduates. Her favorite memory from high school was her senior year homecoming week and all the activities throughout the week. Jocelyn described her senior year as stressful, quick, and memorable.

ANNIKA ELLA RESCHKE

Annika, daughter of Brad and Kylee Reschke, is the oldest of three children. Annika plans to attend Kansas State University to major in health and nutrition. Then she plans to go to nursing school and become a labor and delivery nurse. If talent, money, and location weren’t an object, she would be a stay-at-home mom. Annika’s favorite class this year was being a teaching assistant because she got to interact with the littles. She will miss seeing her classmates every day when she graduates. Annika’s most embarrassing memory was falling while doing box jumps three weeks into being here. Her favorite memory from Sacred Heart was her first day because she felt welcomed and included. Annika described her senior year as bittersweet, memorable, and optimistic

HENRY JAMES ROTTINGHAUS

Henry, son of Eric Rottinghaus and Elisa Rottinghaus, has one younger brother. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln to major in science. If talent, money, and location were not an object, Henry would be a CEO. The teacher that influenced Henry the most was Mrs. Kirkendall because, “She put good values in me, like volunteering.” After Henry graduates he will miss the sense of family most from Sacred Heart. Football games were Henry’s favorite memory from being in high school. He would describe his senior year as bittersweet.

COLE THOMAS SCHAWANG

Cole, son of Darrin and Kim Schawang, is the youngest of three children. Cole plans to attend the University of Nebraska Omaha for electrical engineering. If talent, money, and location weren’t an object, Cole’s dream job would be an astronaut. His favorite high school class was art because, “It lets me expand my horizon.” Cole will miss his class the most after he graduates. The Sacred Heart tradition Cole will miss most is the annual homecoming scavenger hunt. His favorite memory from his time at Sacred Heart is winning the homecoming skits three out of four years. Cole would describe his senior year as fast, memorable, and dragging.

SADIE IRENE TISDEL

Sadie, daughter of Thomas and Randee Tisdel, and has one younger sister. She plans to attend SCC in Lincoln and get her associates in nursing. Sadie’s favorite lunches were chili dog and broccoli and cheese while she was at Sacred Heart. The teacher that influenced Sadie most was Mrs. Kirkendall because she is always positive and pushes people to be their best. The thing Sadie will miss most about Sacred Heart is her handshake with Mr. Goltz. Sadie’s most embarrassing moment was when she submitted her senior picture album instead of her nutrition paper to her college professor. Her favorite memory from Sacred Heart was winning state three times. Sadie would describe her senior year fun, fast, and crazy.

CONNOR RYAN TUBBS

Connor, son of Kyle and Wendy Tubbs, is in the middle of his family and has four siblings. Connor plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University for two years and then farm. Connor’s favorite lunch is the lunch his mom packs him. His favorite class was being a teacher’s assistant for Mrs. Darveau because he gets to do manual labor and get out of class.  He will miss seeing his friends every day after he graduates.

TATE MATTHEW WILCOX

Tate, son of Matt and Michelle Wilcox, has four siblings. Tate plans to go into the Airforce after he graduates from high school. If money, talent, and location weren’t an object, he would be a jet pilot. His favorite class was senior English because, “You never know what chaos was going to happen.” Tate will miss sports the most after he graduates. His favorite tradition from Sacred Heart is the Athletic Banquet. Tate would describe his senior year as really, really fast.
