On April 3rd, Kelsea Ballerini brought her ‘Patterns’ tour to the CHI Health Center in Omaha, giving us a showstopping performance. The night began with The Japanese House and MaLynn Taylor performing the opening acts. They set the stage for a stunning and emotionally rich night.

Ballerini opened her performance with the title track of her tour, “Patterns,” which captivated the crowd. Ballerini’s tour has been popular on TikTok for its emotional depth and her strong stage performance. She dove deep into her “Patterns” album, which led the fans to sing along with each word. She also revisited her “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat” album, including songs like “Blindsided” and “Penthouse.”

Before performing “To the Men Who Love Women After Heartbreak,” she delivered an emotional few words about her past relationships and how she wrote the song to connect with the people in the crowd. Ballerini has been praised for her ability to write songs so well that they build an emotional bond between listeners.

Adding to that connection to the crowd, she wore a jacket that one of her fans made for her while she played “I Would, Would You?” She made that young fan’s first concert experience memorable by inviting her onstage for a photo.

The atmosphere of the concert was great all around. Fans were encouraged to sing their hearts out without judgement. On stage, Ballerini said, “This is my first big girl tour,” which showed the audience how much teamwork and effort went into the production due to the stunning and effective visual designs on stage.

We were among some of the attendees hoping for a surprise appearance by her boyfriend, Outer Banks star Chase Stokes. Even without this, the concert was well worth attending and resulted in an unforgettable experience.
