The school year ended for 2021-22 on May 19.  The year was very normal for Sacred Heart School in regards to COVID and the concerns surrounding the pandemic.  No one knows what the future holds when it comes to our world’s health and how our communities and schools may be affected, but leaders will be better prepared if we need to make adjustments in how we educate our students in the safest ways possible.  If anything, our teachers and students have been flexible and handled all the different things that have come our way these past two-plus years.

Thank you to all of you who made this a successful school year.  It starts with our families and their belief in our school and sending their children to Sacred Heart School.  It is a sacrifice paying tuition and a sacrifice in volunteerism for our school to survive.  Thank you to our teachers.  Your sacrifice is also an incredible gift to our school and our students.  Your dedication is a huge part of what makes Sacred Heart the school it is.  Thank you to our students.  Thank you more than anything for not taking your education at Sacred Heart for granted.  Our students do a tremendous job of volunteering and helping out in so many ways and they learn this from the example set by their parents and their teachers who do this day after day.  Thank you to all our benefactors.  Your prayers and financial support for Sacred Heart School for more than 130 years is why we continue to be who we are.  There are so many people who find ways to support our school by their prayers and their donations.  Alumni, grandparents, and so many others who give to our school in various ways like the Annual Fund or to the Sacred Heart School Foundation, help us keep our tuition affordable so this generation and the next can continue having their children attend our school.  Thank you to the many local businesses who support our school in so many ways.  Your support is also vital to our school.

The 2022-23 school year will be here sooner than you know.  I hope everyone enjoys their summer and their time away from school these next several weeks.  Summer is a time for families to spend time together.  If you know of a family that may have an interest in Sacred Heart School, let us know.  Encourage them to call or visit our school to find out more.

Sacred Heart School – a family educating heart, mind, body and spirit for this life and the next.
