Brookelyn Bebermeyer, daughter of Ted and Joy Bebermeyer, is the second oldest of five children. After graduating, Brookelyn plans to attend online school through Southeast Community College to study surgical technology. The teacher that influenced Brookelyn the most was Mrs. Taft because, “She was always willing to help with schoolwork, or even personal topics.” Brookelyn’s favorite thing about Sacred Heart is always getting to be involved with the younger students and being a role model for them. Brookelyn’s favorite class was Film and Novels because she got to read new books and watch new movies that she normally would not be interested in. Brookelyn will miss seeing all the teachers and getting to see and talk to Mrs. Dunn every day.
Avery Santo, daughter of Luke and Jina Santo, is the second oldest of four children. Avery plans to attend Southeast Community College in Lincoln to study nursing. Avery’s favorite memory from her time at Sacred Heart is, “Winning the state basketball championship my junior season.” Something she wishes she knew as a freshman is that high school is the slowest, yet fastest four years. Avery’s favorite class in high school was the CNA class because it helped her decide on a career. Her favorite thing about Sacred Heart is how small it is.
Kyler Sipple, son of Robbie and Amanda Sipple, has two older brothers and a younger sister. Kyler plans to join the Army National Guard and attend UNL. The teacher that influenced Kyler the most was Mrs. Taft because, “She is selfless, and her teachings apply beyond the classroom.” His favorite school lunch from Sacred Heart is breakfast. Kyler’s most embarrassing memory from school is the time he almost broke the shot clock at a pep rally. He would describe his senior year as “a movie.” The thing Kyler will miss the most is, “The community and people, and not being around that every day.”
Mason Goltz, son of Tom and Shannon Goltz, is the youngest of three siblings. Mason plans to attend Peru State College and study criminal justice. The teacher that has influenced Mason the most is Mrs. Wertenberger because, “She showed me how to express myself through art.” Mason describes his senior year as, “Fast but not fast enough.” His favorite thing about Sacred Heart is the faith that we celebrate at school. Mason will mostly miss his classmates, as they spent most of their years at Sacred Heart together since elementary school.
Parker Hoffman, son of Zane and Sherrie Hoffman, has one younger brother. Parker plans to attend Emporia State University to study biology. His favorite lunch from Sacred Heart is potato soup and cinnamon rolls. Parker’s favorite memory is performing a duet at state speech with his best friend. His favorite class is Speech II. The teacher that has influenced Parker the most is Mrs. Bippes because, “She helped me with speech, and it has helped me to become myself, and come out of my shell.” He would describe his senior year as quick and fun, but also long. One thing he wishes he knew as freshman is how quickly high school goes by.
Elijah Canonico, son of Melanie and Jake Rieger, has three siblings. After graduation, Elijah plans to become an industrial mechanic at a nuclear plant. “My favorite memory from Sacred Heart is when I stomped on a go-go squeeze and it shot everywhere and got on everyone.” Elijah will miss track the most, as it is something he really enjoys doing. His favorite class is being a TA in the office. Something he wishes he knew as a freshman is to always try in sports, even if you’re not going to start. One word he would use to describe his senior year is “fast.”
Daycee Witt, daughter of Amanda and Clayton Vonderschmidt and Monty and Nicole Witt, is the oldest of her six siblings. Daycee plans to attend Southeast Community College in Lincoln to study nursing. The teacher that influenced Daycee the most is Mrs. Emma Ebel because, “Whenever I need to talk to someone, she always gives me the best advice and is always there for me.” The thing Daycee will miss the most about Sacred Heart is the constant support from all the teachers and her friends. Her favorite memory from school is winning the state basketball championship during her junior season. Daycee’s favorite thing about Sacred Heart is having cellphone boxes, because it allowed her to focus more during school. She would describe her senior year as “busy and unforgettable.”
Brenden Lemerond, son of Brian and Jessie Lemerond, is the oldest of four children. After graduation, Brenden plans to attend the College of Hair Design in Lincoln, Nebraska. Brenden would describe his senior year as “a movie.” The teacher that has influenced Brenden the most throughout high school is Mrs. Taft because she is the only teacher he has had for all four years. He will miss World Issues the most because it allowed him to always learn something new. Something Brenden wishes he knew as a freshman is that it gets easier.
Cole Taft, son of Angie and Troy Taft, is the oldest of four children. After graduation, Cole plans to attend Southeast Community College in Milford to study building construction and business. The teacher that has influenced Cole the most is Mrs. Bippes because, “She is always willing to talk, and has always given me good advice and guidance.” His favorite thing about Sacred Heart is that it feels like a family, and you can talk to almost anyone. Cole’s favorite memory is making state basketball his senior year. He will mostly miss seeing his classmates that he grew up with every day. Something he wishes he knew as a freshman is, To not take anything for granted because you only get one high school experience.” He would describe his senior year as “fast.”
Marlena Marchica, daughter of Marta Milniczuk and Manlio Marchica, is the oldest of three children. After graduation, Mari plans to study kinesiology or sports management. The teacher that has influenced Mari the most is Mrs. Bippes because, “She made me understand the importance of thinking for myself and trying to use my own mind, instead of relying on the internet. She also helped me gain more confidence in speaking in a new language.” Her favorite thing about Sacred Heart is the school spirit and the QT parties, as they don’t have these in Italy. “My favorite memory is when I stayed after school with Flavia and she helped me learn the cheers.” The thing Mari will miss the most is the people and track meets, which has helped her meet new, kind people. She would describe her senior year as “a once in a lifetime experience, challenging, and life changing.”
Cooper Knobbe, son of Kent and Jackie Knobbe, is the youngest of two children. After graduation, Cooper plans to attend Southeast Community College inMilford, to study diesel ag technology. The class Cooper enjoyed the most was welding, because it was something new and different. His favorite thing about Sacred Heart is the community. The thing Cooper will miss most about Sacred Heart is his friends and not seeing them every day. His favorite memory from Sacred Heart is his senior basketball season. The word he would use to describe his senior year is “fun.”
Alex Madsen, son of Eric and Trish Madsen, is the youngest of three children. After graduation, he plans to attend Northwest Missouri State and become a history teacher. The teachers that influenced Alex the most are Mrs. Taft and Fr. Hile because, “Mrs. Taft is always helping and putting others ahead of herself, and Fr. Hile taught me how to live out my faith while still being human.” Alex’s favorite thing about Sacred Heart is the family environment, and the Catholic atmosphere. One thing Alex wishes he knew as a freshman is not to follow the crowd. The thing he will miss the most is messing around with friends and helping Mrs. Darveau. The word Alex would use to describe his senior year is “introspective.”
Eli Geisendorf, son of Willie and Katie Geisendorf, has four siblings. After graduation, Eli plans to attend Kansas State University to study computer engineering. The teacher that has influenced Eli the most is Mrs. Bippes because he has interacted with her and she has helped him in speech. Eli’s favorite thing about Sacred Heart is the people he has met. His favorite memory from Sacred Heart is making it to state speech his senior year. The thing Eli will miss the most is art class because it’s fun and something he really enjoys. Eli would describe his senior year as “a drag.”
