Sacred Heart Cheer Squad Grows Stronger.

2025 Sacred Heart Cheerleading Team: Seniors Brookelyn Bebermeyer; juniors Emersyn Courtney, Flavia Kanyange, Justice Smith and Kenzee Ralston; sophomores Mya Dougherty, Jade Romo and Milayna Crawford; freshmen Kamrie Wilson, CeeJay Tisdel, Stella Waller, Macy Taft, Jenna Geisendorf and Brooklyn Fletcher.
This year, the Falls City Sacred Heart Cheer Team has grown significantly in size and school spirit. The team is stepping up its game and practicing once a week. Not only do the cheerleaders cheer at football and basketball games, but the non-volleyball players are now cheering at volleyball games, which is a change for this school year. By putting in more time and effort to learn and perfect each cheer, the team is working to make a name for itself.
The team experienced some changes with the graduation of the class of 2025. Adisen Fischer and Destry Groth handed off the captain position to junior Emersyn Courtney. Courtney is taking her new position very seriously and leading all her fellow teammates to success. The 2025-2026 cheer team is full of positive attitudes and excited to continue supporting Sacred Heart activities.
The cheer team is sponsored by Mrs. Angie Taft and Mrs. Emily Clark. Under their guidance, the team has grown from five members to 13. A larger team allows for more opportunities such as attending away games. The Sacred Heart cheer team has formed a strong bond and embodies the school’s “family” characteristics.
The freshman class made a huge impact on the cheer team with six of them joining the squad. In addition, senior Brookelyn Bebermeyer has returned to the squad this year, bringing enthusiasm and experience.
The Falls City Sacred Heart Cheer Team is looking forward to continuing its growth and success this year by bringing spirit and positivity to Irish Nation.
