Strategy What
To promote and communicate the acdemic achievements of our students and staff. To highlight alumni and alumni achievements. To inform current students and parents of our alumni accomplishments, where they are and what they are doing since they left Sacred Heart. Use social media, Spotlight and Irish e-newsletter to communicate the message and consider instituting an Alumni Award & Wall of Fame.
To promote technology curriculum offered by Sacred Heart and explore additional opportunities to use technology in activities and academic programs. To consider featuring a teacher each month on Facebook, Irish e-newsletter, Spotlight on how they are using technology in their classroom.
To improve and enhance faculty development through consistent classroom observations, coaching, training, and by promoting professional development. To publish the Faculty Professional Development Plan and the Evaluation Tool that the school uses for teacher observation on the website.
To improve and enhance faculty development through consistent classroom observations, coaching, training, and by promoting professional development. To create a staff profiles page on the website and include each teacher’s college/degrees/credentials.  Post degree and universities outside of teacher’s classrooms.

Based on obtaining funding, to create a fund for a teacher sign-on bonus to attract quality professionals to teach in our school as openings occur, especially in the areas of science, technology, foreign language and math.
To encourage students and alumni to write testimonials about their academic experience at Sacred Heart. To create and implement a survey of Sacred Heart graduates who are college students, recent college graduates and their families, to get their feedback on college preparedness; what was good, what is needed.  Ask them to write about their academic and leadership experiences at Sacred Heart and how it prepared them for college and life.
To explore hosting camps in the summer for math, science, technology and engineering. Based on determining funding sources, to explore camps or clubs that could be offered to students in grades K-8 in the areas of Math, Science, and Technology, after school or during the summer.  The summer camps could be opened up to children in this and the surrounding communities.
To communicate our current academic excellence and promote academic opportunities for our students through enhanced programs such as business classes, college classwork, technology programs and foreign language. To explore ways to enhance the K-12 Music program and to explore options for additional funding and volunteers.

To develop and publish a document that gives details on the current technology plan and update it frequently on the website.  Consider publishing examples of how the students are using the technology we have received and consider partnering with the Diocesean Technology Curriculum writer about new subject-area technology integration curriculum.
To explore additional leadership activities for Sacred Heart students through conferences and academic clubs. To encourage and celebrate students who individually seek out volunteer or leadership opportunities and featuring them in the newspaper, social media, Irish e-newsletter and on the website.
