Scheffler’s golden year: six wins and counting.

Scottie Scheffler’s name has become synonymous with golfing greatness. After winning a 2024 Green Jacket, Scheffler has been propelled into the wild world of professional golf.  He has competed in 20 tournaments this season, with 12 top five finishes, and six victories.  

Scheffler, 29, has been the world’s top golfer since March 27, 2022. His top world ranking is the second longest streak ever, just behind Tiger Woods. Scheffler’s consistent success this year has won him a total of $26.5 million in earnings. The next closest earner is Tommy Fleetwood, earning about $18.5 million.  

This year in the Professional Golfers Association (PGA), Scheffler has won a total of six tournaments, three of the them being majors. The tournaments won this year have been the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, PGA Championship, Memorial Tournament, The Open, BMW Championship, and most recently, the Procore Championship. He leads the PGA with the most tournaments won this year.  

Scheffler has accomplished one of the greatest years of golf. The 29-year-old is only seven years into his career and has many years to come. Fans and competitors are eager to see how far Scheffler’s success will take him.
